Computers

  1. Are These Desktop or Laptop Computers?

    We are able to give out Desktop Computers at this time. 

  2. What type of Computers do you accept?

    We accept items such as Desktop, Laptop Computers.  The computers can be Dell, Microsolf, Apple, Gateway, Macintosh etc.

     Also Computer Keyboards, Mouse and accessories.

  3. Where do I get an application?

    Currently  with our limited supply of  Computers, we have applications with the Okmulgee County Elementary and Middle Schools.

    If you are not able to secure one Call 918-557-1379 leave message and we will mail one out to you.

Fee or Charges

  1. Is their a fee or charge for the Computer?

    PC Memories does not charge or charge a fee for the Computer.

  2. How long do I have to wait for my Computer?

    Computer applications are  reviewed by a committee and then delivered on first come first serve basis.

    There is no charge to the applicant for the Computer.

Volunteer

  1. How can I volunteer?

    PC Memories, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization. We have no paid people or volunteers. Our volunteers have families, full or part-time jobs. Some are semi retired and want to help a child.  Call 918-557-1379 , leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

  2. I don't have any skills?

    We interview a person and  may ask for a background check, because we will be distributing them for our non-profit corporation for children.

    A person can be assigned a position that best suits them.

Policies

  1. Is their technical Support after the Computer is installed.

    Yes, PC Memories, Inc. will provide hardware/solfware technical support for a period of ( 60 Days from the date of delivery, at no cost to  the applicant.  The technical support provided by PC Memories, Inc. will be for a hardware and/or solfware problem occurring from the installation process by our technician only.

Computer Information

  1. What type of Operating System?

    LOS is Linux Operating System that allows your Computer to operate.

     Do not attempt to access LOS or Modify any settings or this will negate your policy agreement.
